Affordability and Options

Providing capable students an opportunity to benefit from a High Point Friends School education is a priority for us. We offer need-based financial aid and flexible payment plans to help make that investment a possibility for as many families as possible. Financial Aid is limited each year, however, so it is important to apply early in order to receive priority consideration.
Need-based Financial Aid
Providing access to High Point Friends School, regardless of financial means, is a priority for us. Enrolling talented, bright and capable students from a variety of experiences and backgrounds is core to High Point Friends School ’s mission, and is fundamental to our beliefs and educational curriculum as a Friends School.
The need for financial aid is assessed by High Point Friends School using FAST (a division of Independent School Management) and is awarded on a yearly basis. A confidential financial aid committee reviews the information provided and awards aid based on the demonstrated need as well as funds available. Families must reapply for aid, using FAST, each year. The fee to apply is $45 and all information is completed online. The priority deadline for returning students is February 15 (with tax information provided by April 15.) Decisions on applications completed by the deadline will be made by February 25. For questions about the Financial Aid process or the application, please contact Pam Horn via email phorn@hpfs.org.
New students applying for admission may apply for aid in conjunction with their application. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
Quaker Scholarships
Students from practicing Quaker families are eligible for the Quaker Heritage Scholarship and may also be eligible to apply for additional scholarship funds from Friends Council on Education. Please let your admissions adviser know if your family is a member of a Meeting.
