Our unique hybrid program allows students in grades 5-8 to attend in-person at High Point Friends School on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and work from home with a parent using materials provided by HPFS teachers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in accordance with our school calendar.
Students will be immersed in our independent Friends School and the values that entails: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship. Unlike similar programs, HPFS does not indoctrinate students to a specific religious belief system. Our goal is to expose students to a way of life rooted in Quaker values, empowering students to be better friends to their peers, students in the classroom, and citizens in our community and beyond.
Attending on Tuesdays and Thursdays will expose students to the structure of our middle school including ELA, math, science, social studies, and art. Hybrid students are invited to all of our extracurricular programs: athletics, rock wall climbing, field trips, and community events.
All families interested in enrolling must attend one of the following one hour informational events:
Please RSVP here. Students are encouraged to attend with at least one parent. Families will participate in the daily, whole school assembly at 8:25am and then attend a tour and Q&A. Application information will be shared during these sessions, including more information regarding student shadow opportunities.
Admitted students will enroll for the spring semester (January-May 2026) with a start date of Tuesday, January 6.
